Good evening, how have you spent your bank holiday Monday? Hope you haven’t had to change your plans due to the weather.
Me, I’ve been taking part in some scrappy sketch challenges over on the Lottie Loves Paper (LLP) community page on Facebook and Instagram. Yesterday Sarah set a Tic-tac-toe challenge and as I couldn’t decide which line to choose, I had Rob choose one. He decided on the central horizontal line which meant I needed to use triangles, sewing and 3 photos on my layout.
The triangles and sewing were ok options but finding 3 photos to fit on a page was a bit more tricky for me, but after searching through my archive boxes I found some I could use and this is what I did with them…
The wreath is another of the Paige Taylor Evans cut file and I coloured it with Brushos (a powder pigment that reacts when added to water). I love the vibrancy of the colours and how the wreath ‘pops’ against the black background. The script paper is from the Simple Stories “I Am” paper pack (which was a kit add on from LLP) and the Perspextives words are from Bramblefox.
The sketch challenges were also set by Sarah on the LLP page and were designed by the very talented Laura Rumble at Beadsbuttonsandbirds.blogspot.co.uk. I’ve mostly used my March kit from LLP on the layouts! With a couple of pieces of my own stash to finish off.
The last page was also a entered for a challenge prompt over on the Create Me Scrap Happy group page..
If you’ve made it this far in the post, well done! I’m sorry it was a long one but as you can see, I’ve been busy! 😉
