Wet weekend crafting

Good morming! This is the first morning, of this long Easter weekend, that I’ve woken up and it’s not raining, yippee!

The rainy days did had one advantage for me though, I got to craft and scrap whilst Rob played on his new Xbox game 😉

blog grid2I’ve been playing with some cut file templates I managed to bag from a friend, after I’d seen one of Vicki Boutin’s beautiful designs on her YouTube channel. Vicki also shows another way to use her art crayons to create a subtle colouring and shading using stencilling brushes. I’m now addicted!!

The cut files are from Paige Taylor Evans and they are just so pretty, I’ve managed to get a couple of different sizes cut to keep me going for a while! I also used the coloured in template to create another embrodery hoop decoration, so more than use out of every one.

The layout in the top right hand corner was another scrap-lift, original here, and I got to bust some of my stash as well as using some of the stickers from my Lottie Loves Paper March kit.

After all of this creativeness my desk was swimming under a sea of clutter but I’ve given it a good blitz, so am ready to get going again.

Have a great weekend 🙂
