A fun and friendly crop day :)

Today I held my monthly crop and got to spend the day with a fantastic group of crafters. It’s a very jovial and chatty group with lots of sharing and ideas being passed around the room. It makes all the planning so worthwhile when even one person walks away with a new skill or interest and I love the fact that it’s not just papercrafters/ scrapbookers that attend. Today we had a woman making a tabletop mosaic, one sewing a felt nativity set, and someone else making mixed media backgrounds for cards. I taught a mini album class and even though some were complete beginners, it was a relaxed lesson, with lots of banter throughout 🙂

The crop is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month in Saltford hall (just outside Bristol) and anyone with an interest in craft is welcome. If you’d like any further info you can find the group on Facebook or Meetup. Here’s a picture I took of the group today whilst they were all busy socialising …
